This week’s featured wine is La Capranera Fiano from Campania\, Italy. #WineWednesday \nLa Capranera focuses on preserving ancient\, indigenous varieties of Campania\, producing organic wines that showcase the unique terroir of the region. The winery\, located in Campania\, makes wines from sustainably farmed indigenous grape varieties. “La Capranera\,” which translates to “black goat” in Italian\, is named after the cilentana nera breed of goats that graze in the national park near where the grapes for these wines are grown. Once on the verge of extinction\, these goats have experienced a resurgence\, much like the wines of Campania\, which have gained increased visibility internationally. \nExperience Southern Italy with La Capranera Fiano\, a vibrant white wine crafted from the sustainably farmed Fiano grape. This elegant wine offers aromas of ripe pear\, green apple\, and white peach\, with hints of fresh herbs.
